2013 Alfa Romeo Giulia Black

Alfa Romeo is gearing up for the release of its latest baby, the Giulia. Its a long time coming considering rumors on the car have been around for quite some time now. But in the classic case of better late than never, the new Giulia, which is expected to hit the production line at the tail end of 2012, is now further along in its development.
This poses as great news for fans of the Italian marquee while on the flip side, the sports sedans forthcoming release should be a cause for concern from some of its German rivals, particularly BMW and Audi.

For a brand that has seen its recent struggles, Fiat is hoping that Alfa Romeos new Giulia sports sedan will be the car that will help the Italian brand recover its place in the auto industry. Its a tall order for a sports sedan given the stiff competition its going to face in the market once its released, but nevertheless, Alfa Romeo is confident that they have found the car that will lead them back to prominence in the 2012 Giulia.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Silver 2013

Fiat has a launch is new Giulia sedan model brand in the North American market. According to Automotive News, The delay Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is not satisfied with the design of the cars that will lead the brands comeback in the crucial market. The new Giulia from Alfas own design team in Turin, but hes also unimpressed with the work of Chryslers designers in Michigan who are working on sibling models to the Guilia the next-generation Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger.
The Alfa plan looks more and more overambitious by the day, he said in an e-mail reply to questions. With just the Mito and Giulietta in the next few years, theres probably not a robust enough platform of customers and dealers to power up to 500,000 units. Conquest sales in Europe and the U.S. will need to be massive to hit the target.
Alfa Romeo has an ambitious plan to sell 85,000 vehicles in North America by 2014 and 500,000 units globally for the brand as a whole.

Alfa Romeo Spider 2009

Brand Name: Alfa Romeo

The Spider or convertible has an important place in Alfa Romeo tradition (starting with the Giulietta Spider in the 1950s and going on to the Duetto and the Spider launched in the 1990s), because it has always embodied the free emotive expression of the car. And the new model reiterates the same theme, a natural evolution of the convertibles created by Alfa Romeo in its long history, cars that have always produced strong emotions, guaranteeing extremely entertaining driving and combining superb styling with the performance of powerful, elastic engines. And the new Alfa Spider is no exception: it has the same essentially simple character of a true sports car, combined with the technological superiority of the new Alfa breed.
Inside, the Alfa Spider offers a welcoming and highly sophisticated environment due to the use of top-quality materials and the adoption of opulent features (standard on some versions). From dual-zone automatic climate control to steering-wheel-mounted radio controls, VDC and Cruise control, a map navigator with bird-view function and the Blue&Me system.
The car is offered in a choice of two outfits, and the customer can also choose between two JTS petrol engines (2.2 delivering 185 bhp and 3.2 V6 Q4 delivering 260 bhp), combined with a sporty, mechanical, 6-speed gearbox. The new car guarantees the temperament of an Alfa and excellent dynamic performance thanks to high double wishbone suspension at the front and a Multilink system at the rear. The Alfa Spider combines superb comfort with a sporty trim and an evolved Alfa Romeo Q4 four-wheel drive system (on the 260 bhp 3.2 V6 Q4 version). And in the safety field, the new Alfa Romeo is fitted with the most sophisticated electronic devices to control the cars dynamic behaviour: from braking to traction.

Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 MultiAir 2010

Car Name: Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 MultiAir
Brand Name: Alfa Romeo

TopClass View

Alfa Romeo, always a byword for sophisticated engineering and high-performing engines, proudly presents the revolutionary MultiAir system, developed and patented by FPT Fiat Powertrain Technologies.
The forerunner of this revolutionary family is the MultiAir 1.4 engine, first introduced to the world on the Alfa Romeo MiTo model and offered with 3 different power levels (105 HP, 135 HP and 170 HP), all Euro5-ready.
At the launch, the first two MultiAir power units fitted to the Alfa Romeo MiTo are the 135 HP 1.4 and the 105 HP 1.4, available in all the current range outfits. Their launch will be followed by that of the 170 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbobenzina, which will complement the Alfa Romeo MiTo petrol engine range and be available on the brand new and unique Quadrifoglio Verde outfit.
In detail, the 135 HP 1.4 Turbobenzina guarantees the Alfa Romeo MiTo all the performance and temperament of a sporty, well-balanced car designed for customers who are concerned about driving satisfaction and good fuel economy. The torque delivery of the 135 HP engine is optimum under all conditions and ensures outstanding pick-up performance and vigorous thrust at all speeds, marking a new benchmark in the petrol engine scenario. The new 135 HP power units top speed and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h are at the very top of the mini category.
Excellent performance is combined with the quality known as respect for the environment and good fuel economy. This excellence is reflected in particularly low CO2 emissions, equal to 129 gr/km, with a combined fuel consumption of just 5.6 litres every 100 km.
The 170 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbobenzina, combined with a new 6-speed gearbox guaranteeing fast shifts with short travels, is an excellent example of the philosophy of downsizing: producing very hi-tech turbocharged engines to increase performance while slashing fuel consumption and emissions. The results achieved by following this strategy are interesting by any standard (139 g/km of CO2 and 4.8 l/100km over the extraurban cycle), closer to what you would expect from a mini than a sporty hatchback capable of speeding from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 7 seconds.

Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione 2007

Car Name: Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione
Brand Name: Alfa Romeo

TopClass View

The definitive version of the gorgeous exclusive Alfa 8C Competizione, Gran Turismo car that is to be produced in a limited edition makes its debut in Paris. The car, designed by Alfa Romeo, is directly derived from the concept car that aroused such admiration at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show and has benefited from the best technical and industrial know-how that the Alfa-Maserati Sports Centre can offer. The cooperative venture between both manufacturers was conducted with a view to ensuring integration between the Alfa Romeo design departments and the Maserati production departments.

The 8C Competizione is inspired by Alfa Romeos glorious past, projecting its brand values of technology and emotion into the future. The historical allusions begin with the evocative name, recalling the great sporting tradition of Alfa Romeo. The 8C code was used to identify cars (racing and on-road) of the Thirties and Forties equipped with the revolutionary eight cylinder engine produced by the famous designer Vittorio Jano. The term Competizione is intended as a homage to the 6C 2500 Competizione, a sports coup driven in 1950 by the duo Fangio and Zanardi in the famous Mille Miglia race.

The innovative shape heralds the details and proportions of future Alfa Romeo cars but is also redolent with past thrills and historical allusions: the 33 Coup Stradale, the Giulia TZ and many other great names of motoring history. The Alfa Romeo style centre also developed new colours to emphasise the shape of the 8C Competizione that match the cars sinuous shape while also suggesting modernity and a hint of technology.
8 cylinder 4.7 engine: Italian belcanto.

The engine is the beating heart of any Alfa Romeo. In this case it takes the form of a brand new 90 V 8 cylinder unit with a cylinder capacity of 4691 cc that was designed with one aim in mind: to ensure extraordinary performance while still offering a smooth drive and being usable in all circumstances, from the track to city traffic.

The top engine performance figures may be summarised as a maximum power output of 450 bhp at 7000 rpm, a peak torque of 470 Nm at 4750 rpm and a top speed of 7500 rpm.

Alfa Romeo MiTo

Car Name: Alfa Romeo MiTo
Brand Name: Alfa Romeo

TopClass View

The Alfa Romeo MiTo, brand new for 2009 from the Italian luxury car manufacturer, makes a true attempt at being an accessible and affordable Italian sports car. While calling it a "sports car" is a bit of a stretch, the MiTo should offer spirited driving and decent power in a sport compact car package.

Scarcely larger than a Mini Cooper, the Alfa MiTo pulls 153 horsepower from a tiny 1.4 liter 4-banger, due to advanced turbocharging technology. Designed to be a sporty yet affordable alternative to the 2009 Alfa Romeo 8C, the MiTo sport compact car weighs less than a Honda Civic and should be a joy to throw through the esses, and easy to drive in traffic as well.
