MOST POWERFUL CADDY EVER IN MANY VERSIONS

2013 Volkswagen CADDY

Last year, the anniversary model Caddy Edition 30 caused a stir as a top model with a sporty look and the most powerful TDI engine in the Caddy range. Now the 125 kW / 170 PS TDI is also available in other Caddy models. Bi-xenon headlights are also available now in the Caddy. Both options are exclusive to the segment of city delivery vehicles and compact vans.

Now, the most powerful engine that a Caddy has ever supplied with ex factory is also available in many other Caddy models: The 125 kW / 170 PS 2.0 TDI is now offered in other equipment and body versions of the Caddy: as the Caddy Highline or Caddy Maxi in a Panel Van configuration, as the Kombi and in the Comfortline and Highline equipment lines.
Equipped with a six-speed DSG as standard, the strongest Caddy accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds. With this engine combination, the compact van has a top speed of 196 km/h and an enormous 350 Newton metres of torque, making it the most dynamic city delivery vehicle ever.

Besides offering superior driving performance, the most powerful Caddy also shines with a very good fuel consumption value of 6.3 litres of diesel per 100 km, which equates to 166 g CO2 per km and is on the same level as the 140 PS TDI.

Prices for passenger car versions of the 170 PS Caddy begin at 28,191.10 euros (gross) for the Caddy Maxi Kombi, 33,712.70 euros (gross) for the Caddy Maxi Comfortline and 33,915 euros (gross) for the Caddy Highline. The fastest Caddy Maxi Panel Van starts at 23,260 euros (net) in the price list.

Bi-Xenon headlights now also for the Caddy

Recently, bi-xenon headlights including dynamic and static cornering lights were added as an option in all Caddy models – the passenger car versions, for the Kombi and Panel Van vehicles as well as the Tramper in conjunction with all petrol and diesel engines as well as the EcoFuel drive.

The daytime running lights are generated by LED diodes that are integrated in the two headlights. This is another feature that is exclusively offered by the Caddy in the segment of city delivery vehicles and compact vans. The “bi-xenon headlights” option is available for the Caddy from 1,219.75 euros (gross).
